500 mil Irish film set for theatrical release

The Irish film ‘500 mil’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 4. Directed by Morgan Matthews, the film is described as a reflective road movie centered on family dynamics, hope, and the need for closeness.

The plot follows two brothers, Finn and Charlie, who run away from home to avoid being separated following their parents' breakup. They embark on a 500-mile journey toward the west coast of Ireland to reach the home of their grandfather, John. Along the way, they encounter various people, including a street musician named Kait.
