52°N to debut AI smart glasses at IFA 2026
Berlin-based company 52°N has announced its Departure Collection of smart glasses, which will be showcased at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The collection features two primary models: the square-shaped ‘Berlin’ and the rounded ‘Milan’ models.
The glasses utilize Goya AI to power an ‘AI Tour Guide’ feature, which provides historical context and information when a user looks at landmarks or artworks. Additionally, the technology supports real-time translation to facilitate conversations with foreign speakers.
A new prototype featuring interchangeable magnetic frames will also debut at the event, allowing users to change the color and material of their eyewear quickly. The models are priced starting at 399 euros in Europe and 399 dollars in the United States.
