55+ senior talent platform expands to Málaga

The senior talent platform 55+ is expanding its operations to Málaga, Spain. The initiative, which aims to connect professionals over the age of 55 with clients requiring various home services, was announced in conjunction with Age Awareness Day.

Supported by the Diputación de Málaga, La Noria, and Fundación La Caixa, the project follows previous expansions from Portugal and Barcelona. The digital platform allows users to hire senior professionals for roles such as chefs, caregivers, electricians, gardeners, music teachers, and accountants.

Since its inception, 55+ has engaged over 5,600 talents and provided approximately 63,000 hours of services and workshops. The organization reports that 92% of participants in 2026 experienced positive life impacts, including increased income, improved self-esteem, and a renewed sense of purpose.
