5C Group secures $605M for AI data center campuses

5C Group, a North American developer and operator of AI data center campuses, has secured $605 million in new debt financing. The funding round was led by Brookfield Asset Management.

This new capital brings 5C’s total funding to over $1.4 billion, following $835 million in equity and debt raised earlier in 2025. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of priority sites, specifically funding the acquisition and construction of a campus in Memphis, while supporting the expansion of existing campuses in Ohio and Phoenix.

5C Group reports a roadmap capacity exceeding 1.5 gigawatts, designed to support hundreds of thousands of GPUs for advanced artificial intelligence workloads.
