66‑year‑old Italian entrepreneur beaten in Rome suburb; two Pakistanis stabbed in Calabria

A 66‑year‑old entrepreneur was found unconscious in a pool of blood at his home on via Gianni Anacleto in Sant'Angelo Romano, near Rome. He suffered facial swelling, a broken nose and fractured ribs after a violent beating. He was taken first to the hospital in Tivoli and then transferred to the Umberto I hospital in Rome. Police are investigating the incident, considering a possible burglary attempt, although nothing was stolen.

In a separate incident in the town of Corigliano Rossano, two Pakistani men were stabbed on Viale Luca De Rosis. Both received minor injuries and were treated by emergency services without life‑threatening conditions. Carabinieri have opened an investigation, gathering video surveillance and witness statements, while the assailants fled the scene and remain at large.
