6th Eastern Black Sea Rheumatology Days begins in Trabzon

The 6th Eastern Black Sea Rheumatology Days has commenced at Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon. Organized by the Trabzon branch of the Turkish Rheumatism Research and Combat Association, the scientific event brings together academics and physicians to discuss advancements in the field.

Key topics of discussion include current developments in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence in healthcare processes such as diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment.

Prof. Dr. Erhan Çapkın, a faculty member at Karadeniz Technical University and President of the association's Trabzon branch, emphasized the importance of scientific meetings for knowledge sharing between experienced doctors and younger colleagues. To support professional development, the association is sponsoring approximately 40 assistant physicians to participate in the congress.
