7-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling into Mersin River at Beach

A 7-year-old boy, Eser Kılıç, went swimming with his family at the Adanalıoğlu beach in Mersin, Turkey. He disappeared when the sea merged with a nearby river and was later found unconscious in the river mouth by dive police. Emergency services, including the Mersin Police Underwater Group and Coast Guard, rescued him and rushed him to Tarsus State Hospital, where he died despite medical intervention.
