The 70000 Tons of Metal heavy metal cruise has announced that public sales for its 2027 edition will begin on September 7, 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from January 14 to 18, 2027.

Sailing aboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas, the cruise will depart from Miami, Florida, and travel to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, before returning to Miami. The festival aims to host 60 bands across four stages during the four-day voyage.

The organizers have revealed the first 30 bands of the 60-band lineup, which includes acts such as Exodus, Wolfheart, and Hammerfall. The Finnish band Wolfheart is set to perform a world live premiere of its upcoming album during the cruise. The event features artist-hosted activities, meet-and-greets, and performances on a large open-air stage structure.
