76-year-old killed in tractor accident in San Michele al Tagliamento, Italy

On 31 July, a 76-year-old man was crushed to death when his tractor overturned in San Michele al Tagliamento, a town in the province of Venice, Italy. The victim's son, unable to contact his father, called emergency services at about 17:30. Firefighters from the Latisana and Portogruaro stations arrived, secured the vehicle and attempted to free the man, but he died on the scene. Carabinieri units also attended the site to conduct investigations and reconstruct the accident's dynamics.
