777 Partners files legal action over leaked confidential documents

777 Partners LLC has filed a judicial interpellation in the São Paulo courts against lawyer Jorge Luiz Barbieri Gallo, a member of the Campos Mello Advogados firm. The legal action follows a monetary claim filed by the law firm against 777 Partners for approximately R$ 740,000 in attorney fees.

777 Partners alleges that during the legal proceedings to prove services rendered, the firm presented confidential documents—including emails, invoices, and records from cases under seal—without requesting judicial secrecy or adequate protection.

The interpellation includes 12 formal questions directed at the lawyer, seeking clarification on whether the exposure of these documents was a deliberate strategy to pressure the company into a settlement, whether there was contact with the press, and why judicial secrecy was not requested from the start of the action.
