7Artisans and Viltrox release new autofocus camera lenses

Chinese lens manufacturers 7Artisans and Viltrox are expanding their presence in the premium and compact lens markets.

7Artisans has released the AF 135mm f/1.8 MAX, a full-frame fast medium telephoto lens. Available for Sony E, Nikon Z, and L-mount, the lens features an all-metal build, a customizable control ring for Nikon users, and an STM autofocus motor. It is positioned as a high-end, high-value option priced at approximately $689 USD.

Viltrox has introduced the AF 26mm F2.8 EVO, an ultra-compact full-frame pancake lens designed for Sony E and Nikon Z mounts. Weighing only 130g and measuring 23.8mm in thickness, it is intended for lightweight handheld or gimbal setups. The lens includes manual aperture and focus rings, STM autofocus, and a multilayer HD Nano coating.
