The plot follows four elderly friends and dedicated fans of quarterback Tom Brady who embark on a journey to Houston, Texas, to attend the 2017 Super Bowl. Along the way, the group faces unexpected situations while celebrating their friendship.

The production is inspired by a real-life fan club known as ‘Over 80 for Brady,’ which consisted of five women: Betty Pensavalle, Elaine St. Martin, Anita Riccio, Pat Marx, and Claire Boardman. These women gathered to watch New England Patriots games following the loss of their husbands.
