Sky series Nord Sud Ovest Est debuts second season on 883

The second and final season of the Sky Original series ‘Nord Sud Ovest Est – La leggendaria storia degli 883’ premiered on October 9, 2026. Produced by Sky Studios and Groenlandia, the series follows the rise of the Italian musical duo Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto.

Set primarily in 1993, the eight-episode season explores the period following the duo’s massive success, focusing on the creation of their second album. The narrative depicts the transition from provincial life in Pavia to the music industry in Milan and beyond. A central theme is the growing tension between Pezzali and Repetto, as differing personal ambitions and the pressures of fame lead toward their eventual artistic separation.

Elia Nuzzolo returns as Max Pezzali, and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli reprises his role as Mauro Repetto. The season also features appearances by the 1980s pop duo Righeira, used to draw parallels regarding the complexities of fame and creative divergence. The series is available on Sky and via streaming on NOW.
