8BitDo and SCUF release advanced wireless controllers for Xbox and PC

New high-end wireless controllers are entering the Xbox and PC gaming market, featuring advanced Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) joystick technology designed to increase precision and reduce power consumption while eliminating stick drift.

8BitDo has announced the Ultimate 3E Controller for Xbox, an officially licensed accessory compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android, and Apple devices. The controller emphasizes customization through a magnetic faceplate that allows users to swap ABXY modules (silicone membrane or mechanical micro-switches), D-pads, and various joystick shapes. It utilizes 2.4 GHz low-latency wireless, USB, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Additionally, the SCUF Valor Pro Wireless has been highlighted as a premium option for Xbox and PC users. Priced at approximately 180 euros, it features four remappable rear paddles, TMR sticks, and instant adjustable triggers. The device offers tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth, low-latency wireless, and wired) with a polling rate of up to 1000 Hz in wired PC mode, and includes dedicated volume wheels for game and chat audio.
