8BitDo announces Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary controller collection

8BitDo has announced two special edition controllers to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise. The collection includes the Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox and the Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad.

The Ultimate 3 edition, priced at $119.99, features designs showcasing various iterations of Lara Croft from the series' history, ranging from her original polygonal appearance to modern versions. It includes technical upgrades such as TMR analog sticks to prevent drift and Hall Effect sensors for the triggers. This model is officially licensed for Xbox and PC.

The Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad, priced at $79.99, is designed for Nintendo Switch, PC, and other mobile platforms. Its aesthetic is inspired by the Lost Valley level from the original 1996 game. Both models feature advanced hardware, including TMR sticks and Hall Effect triggers, and are scheduled to begin shipping on October 24, 2026.
