8BitDo launches N64 30th Collection-Clear Blue hardware

8BitDo has launched the N64 30th Collection-Clear Blue, a series of hardware tributes celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Nintendo 64. The collection features two primary products: the Ultimate 2 Wireless gamepad and the Retro 87 mechanical keyboard, both utilizing a translucent blue aesthetic inspired by the iconic Funtastic era of Nintendo hardware.

The Ultimate 2 Wireless gamepad includes TMR analog sticks to prevent stick drift and linear Hall-effect triggers that can be toggled to a non-linear mode. It also features additional bumpers (R4 and L4) and a matching charging dock. The Retro 87 keyboard uses Cloud Gray linear switches developed with HUANO and features keycaps designed with a color palette that evokes the original N64 controller buttons.

Both devices offer versatile connectivity options, including wired connections, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth. Each item in the collection requires a separate USB-A wireless adapter for wireless use.
