9 de Julio announces public holiday for 163rd anniversary

The Municipality of 9 de Julio has announced that Tuesday, October 27, will be a non-working day for the local public administration to commemorate the 163rd anniversary of the city's foundation. This measure was established via Municipal Decree No. 1232/2026, signed by Mayor María José Gentile and endorsed by Secretary of Government and Production Federico Aranda.

In addition to the administrative holiday, a parade is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, in the city center. Organized in conjunction with the El Pihuelo Traditionalist Center, the event will take place at Plaza Belgrano and aims to revitalize a community tradition that has not been held since 2022.
