Truck fire blocks one lane on Denmark's Sydmotorvejen near Eskilstrup

A truck fire caused a lane closure on the Sydmotorvejen between Eskilstrup and Nørre Alslev on Friday morning. The incident forced traffic to use the opposite lane, creating a queue that could add up to 30 minutes of travel time. The road authority kept the affected lane closed while emergency crews extinguished the blaze and began cleanup, which was expected to be completed by 08:00 local time.

Motorists were advised to follow the posted detour signs and exercise caution while the situation was being resolved.
