99Compras expands pharmacy marketplace into São Paulo

99Compras is expanding its pharmacy vertical into São Paulo, investing R$ 100 million to accelerate operations in the region. The expansion includes the capital and over 20 municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, such as Guarulhos, Osasco, and Mauá.

Major pharmacy chains including Panvel, Nissei, Ultrafarma, Drogaleste, and PromoFarma have already joined the platform. The company is utilizing its superapp's user base of over 60 million to connect pharmacies—ranging from large networks to independent establishments—with consumers. The strategy involves a specialized operational structure designed to meet specific pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and logistical needs.
