9th Gymnasium of Trikala featured in Ministry of Education digital magazine

The 9th Gymnasium of Trikala has been featured in the digital magazine ‘FOS Paideias – Ideas that Travel’ by the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports. The school's project was recognized in the Arts and Culture category.

Coordinated by Director Amalia Iliadi, the initiative focuses on philanagnosia (love of reading) through innovative, experiential methods. A key component is the ‘Author's Workshop,’ which transforms students from passive readers into active participants. The program includes regular meetings with authors, allowing students to discuss the writing process and analyze literary styles directly with creators.

The project aims to foster critical thinking, self-expression, and social connection by moving beyond traditional reading methods toward active, creative engagement.
