A-43 highway to undergo 6 million euro renovation in Spain
The Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has launched a tender for the rehabilitation of the A-43 highway between Ciudad Real and Daimiel. The project covers a 17-kilometer stretch, from kilometer point 0 to 17.
The total investment, including VAT, amounts to 6,154,656.54 euros. The budget is scheduled to be distributed across several fiscal years, with the largest portion of 3,077,328.29 euros planned for 2027, followed by allocations in 2028 and 2029.
The bidding process is expected to conclude in mid-November, with technical and economic proposals being analyzed following the October 19 deadline. The project aims to renew the road surface to support daily traffic between the provincial capital and Daimiel, as well as transit toward other parts of Castilla-La Mancha.
