A Bona Fide Killer approaches series finale on MBC

The MBC drama ‘A Bona Fide Killer’ is approaching its series finale. Following the release of episodes 11 and 12 on September 4 and 5, 2026, the final two episodes are scheduled to air on September 11 and 12.

Directed by Yoon Jong-ho and written by Kim Eun-hee, the series stars Gong Hyo-jin, Jung Joon-won, and Lee Sang-yi. Based on a Kakao Webtoon, the plot follows Yoo Bo-na, a suburban mother who leads a double life as a legendary hitwoman known as ‘Kingfisher.’

The concluding episodes are expected to address a mystery involving a copycat killer imitating Kingfisher’s methods. As Bo-na’s husband, Kwon Tae-seong, discovers her secret, the narrative tension increases due to the disappearance of their daughter and police investigations into a recent murder that deviates from Kingfisher’s established patterns.
