Flashbacks show that Yu Bo-na, a secret sniper known as “Kingfisher,” was performing an assassination on a rooftop while dressed as a football supporter. During the same period, Kwon Tae-sung was investigating pickpockets and was subsequently attacked, leaving him collapsed and bleeding. Yu Bo-na discovered him in this state, marking their initial meeting.

Further plot developments include a sequence where Kwon Tae-sung searches for a missing Yu Bo-na on a snowy mountain, leading to his own collapse. Additionally, the series is set to explore the past of Lee Dong-jin, detailing his motivations for becoming a police officer.
