A Coruña municipalities approve major infrastructure funding

Municipalities in the province of A Coruña have approved significant infrastructure investments through the POS+ Adicional program provided by the Diputación de A Coruña.

In Narón, the council approved the allocation of 1.63 million euros for various projects. Key works include repairing the roof of the Manuela Pérez Sequeiros Senior Center, sanitation improvements in Salgueiral, accessibility upgrades on several streets, and the installation of photovoltaic infrastructure at the A Gándara pavilion. Other funds are earmarked for pavement replacement and LED lighting installation to improve energy efficiency.

In A Laracha, local authorities reached a unanimous agreement to invest over 760,000 euros in public infrastructure. These funds will target road network improvements in areas such as Soandres, Cabovilaño, and Caión, as well as sanitation and municipal warehouse reforms. Additionally, the municipality approved an expansion of the ‘Harmoniza’ reconciliation program to increase childcare places and a plan to renovate and create new playgrounds in collaboration with the Diputación.
