A Coruña opens new bus station at San Cristóbal intermodal site

The bus station in A Coruña has officially relocated from its former site between Caballeros and Pérez Ardá to the San Cristóbal intermodal area near the historic train station. Local authorities, including the Director General of Mobility Judit Fontela, reported that the transition has proceeded with normality, noting that schedules and routes have been adjusted as planned.

While some bus accumulation was noted at the provisional Alfonso Molina stop, local police described the initial traffic flow as perfect. The old station building will remain open to the public for specific administrative services, such as mobility and building permits, and Millennium card applications.

This relocation occurs while construction on the full intermodal connection remains ongoing. Due to upcoming railway works by Adif, certain bus lines traveling toward Santiago de Compostela, Madrid, Lugo, Ferrol, and Betanzos will undergo temporary road diversions.
