A Coruña's Festival Noroeste Estrella Galicia Announces Lineup of 40+ Artists
The Festival Noroeste Estrella Galicia in A Coruña will take place from 5 to 8 August across seven city venues, including the beach of Riazor, María Pita, Azcárraga, Campo da Leña, Santa Margarita, O Portiño and the Castle of San Antón. Organisers have disclosed a program featuring more than 40 performers, with a majority of Galician bands and a balance of emerging talent and established acts. Headliners and new additions include Bomba Estéreo, Rusowsky, Yerai Cortés, Sprints, Ángel Stanich, and a host of local groups such as Apolo 18, Familia Caamagno and the Orquestra do Quince.
The festival’s presentation on 13 July was attended by mayor Inés Rey, who said the event “continues to be the best urban festival in Spain and a reference at the European level.” Graphic designer Julia Lago explained that the visual identity draws on the “spirit that fills the city during the festival.” The programme will also host parallel activities from 6 to 9 August, including family‑friendly performances and a market of vinyl and CD collectors.
The event is organised by the A Coruña City Council, sponsored by Estrella Galicia and supported by the Xunta de Galicia and the Provincial Deputation.
