Stephanie Gomes eliminated from A Fazenda 18

Stephanie Gomes has become the first contestant eliminated from the 18th season of the reality show ‘A Fazenda’. Following a vote between herself, Giovanna Gold, and Sérgio Hondjakoff, Gomes received 19.71% of the votes, resulting in her departure from the competition.

The elimination has sparked significant tension among participants and their families. Solange Gomes, Stephanie’s mother and a former contestant, publicly criticized Fran Almeida, the ‘Fazendeira’ of the week, accusing her of ‘gratuitous persecution’ after Almeida nominated Stephanie for the elimination vote. Additionally, the show has seen rising conflicts, including a confrontation between Darlin Ferrattry and Giovanna Gold following Gold’s immunity win.

Despite her short stay, Gomes’s departure included a new show mechanic called ‘the inheritance,’ allowing the eliminated participant to grant powers to those remaining. In this instance, Gomes provided immunity to Giovanna Gold and gave Sérgio Hondjakoff the power to veto two participants from the upcoming celebration.
