A Guarda postpones ‘O Camiño do Amor’ rock opera due to weather

The rock opera spectacle ‘O Camiño do Amor’ has been postponed in A Guarda due to forecasted adverse weather conditions. Originally scheduled for Sunday, August 23, at 21:00 in the Alameda, the event was delayed to ensure the safety of the audience, performers, and technical staff.

The production is a musical, theatrical, and cinematic experience centered on a love story driven by classic rock songs, including tracks by the Scorpions, Eagles, and Led Zeppelin. The show features the group Claxxoon, vocalist Rosa do Mar, and saxophonist Miguel Ponce, under the musical direction of Diego Grande.

The Concello da Guarda stated that the event is not canceled but merely postponed, and a new date will be announced once the final programming is confirmed.
