A. J. Brown may return to Patriots lineup this week

New England Patriots wide receiver A. J. Brown may return to action this week against the New York Jets. Brown has missed four games after suffering a Grade 2 high ankle sprain during the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel stated on Monday that “there’s a chance” Brown makes his return for the upcoming AFC East divisional contest. While the injury initially carried a recovery timeline of six to eight weeks, Brown was seen walking without a limp in the locker room this past Sunday.

After being placed on injured reserve, Brown is now eligible to be activated for the Week 6 matchup. The Patriots' offense has shown improved rhythm in recent weeks, securing wins against the Bills and Raiders, despite the absence of the star receiver.
