A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 completes production

Production for the second season of HBO's 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' has officially concluded. Actor Dexter Sol Ansell, who portrays Egg, shared the update via social media, noting that filming is complete despite previous delays caused by torrential rains in Gran Canaria, Spain.

Following the production wrap, the series is expected to debut between early and mid-2027, allowing time for editing, special effects, and localization. The first season earned significant critical and audience acclaim, securing nine Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.

The show is based on George R. R. Martin's 'Dunk and Egg' novellas. Due to the franchise's success, Martin has confirmed he is writing a new entry in the novella series to provide further source material for the television adaptation.
