A Lim Kim leads LOTTE Championship after first round 65

A Lim Kim took the first-round lead at the LPGA Tour’s LOTTE Championship, shooting a 7-under 65 at Hoakalei Country Club. Despite rainy and breezy conditions, the 30-year-old Kim completed a bogey-free morning round, highlighted by birdies on holes 15 through 17.

South Korean player Ina Yoon and China’s Yu Liu both finished with 66s, keeping them close to the lead. Other notable performers included Jeeno Thitikul, who sat at 67 alongside several other players. Local Hawaii golfer Allisen Corpuz recorded a 68.
