A Última Sessão de Freud continues Brazilian theater tour

The theatrical production ‘A Última Sessão de Freud’ (Freud’s Last Session) is continuing its national tour across Brazil. The play, directed by Elias Andreato, features Odilon Wagner as Sigmund Freud and Marcello Airoldi as C. S. Lewis.

Set in Freud’s office in England, the drama depicts a fictional encounter between the two intellectuals. The dialogue centers on the debate between atheism and faith, while expanding into discussions on the meaning of life, human nature, and death. The production is based on a text by American playwright Mark St. Germain.

Since its debut in 2022, the play has completed approximately 400 performances and reached over 180,000 spectators. Upcoming dates include a season at Teatro RioMar Fortaleza in September 2026 and performances at Teatro Riachuelo Natal on September 12 and 13.
