A Milagrosa announces comprehensive festival program

The neighborhood of A Milagrosa in Carballo has announced its festival program, scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6. Organized by the ACD A Milagrosa commission, the event is described by president Luis Barca Añón as having more comprehensive content than in previous years.

The festivities will begin on Friday with a speech honoring the late Ché de Bastián, followed by the ‘Procesión das Antorchas’ and musical performances. Saturday’s activities include a parade, a large public sardine meal, and the traditional creation of floral carpets, a custom dating back to 1982. The day will also feature the Spanish ‘Baixada de carros de bolas’ championship.

On Sunday, the program concludes with a mass in honor of the Virxe da Milagrosa, a religious procession, and various musical performances throughout the day.
