Batanga: Alika and Tonho marry and assume the throne

In the final chapters of the telenovela ‘A Nobreza do Amor’, Alika (Duda Santos) and Tonho (Ronald Sotto) marry in a ceremony held at the royal palace courtyard. Following the union, Alika assumes the throne previously held by her father, Cayman II, while Tonho is named king consort, marking a new era of reconstruction for the kingdom of Batanga.

The coronation features special appearances by various Brazilian cultural, sporting, and artistic figures, including Péricles, Conceição Evaristo, and Daiane dos Santos, serving as a tribute to Black personalities and reinforcing the story’s connection between Africa and Brazil. In her inaugural speech, Alika honors those who resisted the rule of Jendal (Lázaro Ramos).

Parallel to the events in Batanga, the character Omar (Rodrigo Simas) returns to Barro Preto to marry Salma (Rayssa Bratillieri), providing a happy conclusion to their romance after the conclusion of the conflict in Batanga.
