A. P. Moller Capital has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Singapore-based Portek International from Mitsui & Co. through its Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund II.

Portek is a cargo ports operator and engineering business that manages seven port terminals across Algeria, Gabon, Indonesia, Latvia, Malta, and Vietnam. The acquisition aligns with A. P. Moller Capital’s focus on transportation and logistics infrastructure. Following the transaction, the firm plans to work with local operating teams to enhance operational performance, governance, safety, and environmental performance, including emissions-reduction initiatives.
