A Permanent Shadow and Sadurn release new music previews

Musical projects A Permanent Shadow and Sadurn have released new previews for their upcoming albums.

A Permanent Shadow, led by singer CP Fletcher, shared the second preview for the album ‘Half-Century Dead End’, scheduled for release in early 2027. The new track, ‘Alone’, is a New Wave-style song featuring a strong bassline. Fletcher noted the song was written spontaneously in ten minutes and added to the pre-produced album as a last-minute addition. The accompanying music video was filmed at Bar Absenta in the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona.

Sadurn has released ‘can’t stop’, a preview for their second album ‘The Underworld’, which is set to arrive on October 16 via Run For Cover Records. The track features a lo-fi sound, utilizing an original GarageBand demo created by Genevieve DeGroot. The band decided to keep the spontaneous character of the initial demo, which includes a vocal sample recorded in a forest tunnel. The album, mixed by Mark Watters, explores themes of loss and stability following a period of personal and physical challenges for DeGroot.
