A Priori Dance Co. to perform (A)diafana Somata in Kozani

The Municipal Regional Theatre of Kozani will host the contemporary dance performance (A)diafana Somata by the group A Priori Dance Co. on November 8, 2026. Choreographed and researched by Eleonora Ilia, the production explores collective psychological trauma and how human experiences are imprinted on the body as a vessel of memory.

Using movement, sound, voice, and a specialized visual environment, the performance aims to make invisible experiences visible on stage. The work examines the tension between different aspects of identity and the wounds passed down through generations, seeking potential transformation and catharsis through the connection of bodies.

The performance features Maria Vlachou, Anna Papanikolaou, and Tzina Chrysi, with music by Konstantinos Tsiolis. The production is supported by the Municipal Regional Theatre of Ioannina.
