A Quiet Place: Day One explores the Manhattan alien invasion

A Quiet Place: Day One is a sci-fi horror prequel that explores the initial alien invasion of Manhattan. The film follows Sam, a terminally ill woman, and Eric, a student, as they attempt to survive in New York City amidst an onslaught of blind, sound-sensitive creatures.

To contain the invasion, city bridges have been destroyed, leaving water as the primary route for escape. The film stars Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn. Much of the production was filmed in London.
