ŞA-RA Enerji's $6.23 bn IPO Launches on Borsa İstanbul
ŞA-RA Enerji, a leading Turkish energy‑transmission equipment manufacturer, opened its demand‑collection process for an initial public offering on 8 July. The three‑day subscription period (8‑10 July) allowed investors to place bids at a fixed price of 70 TL per share.
A total of 89 million shares are being offered, valuing the issue at approximately 6.23 billion TL. The offering is led by Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler and includes a capital increase from 400 million TL to 444.5 million TL. Allocation is split as follows: 38 % to domestic individual investors, 2 % to company employees, and 50 % to institutional investors (half domestic, half foreign). An additional 10 % is set aside for large investors under a proportional allocation scheme. Existing shareholders, including Şadi Türk and Hilkat Mor, will also sell shares as part of the float.
ŞA-RA Enerji boasts a 41‑year history, nine factories in Adana and Ankara, and production capacities of 200 kt of steel, 250 kt of hot‑dip galvanised steel, and 70 kt of bolts and nuts. The firm holds about a 50 % share of the domestic market and exports to over 100 countries, making this the largest Turkish IPO of 2026 and the first in its sector on the Borsa İstanbul.
