A Raña hosts shooting competition as Boliche de Juancho prepares folk event

The XVIII Tirada al Plato Festas do Cristo was held at the A Raña shooting range, bringing together over forty participants from various regions including Viana do Bolo, O Barco, Quiroga, and Bembibre. The competition featured a high level of skill, with Bruno Manuel Dos Santos, the 2020 Spanish champion, being the only shooter to complete all 25 plates in the initial phase. The final standings required a sudden-death tie-breaker after Bruno Manuel Dos Santos, Manuel Manrique, and Urbano Díaz all achieved perfect scores of 25 out of 25.

In Argentina, the Boliche de Juancho in the General Madariaga area will host a folk music event and traditional lunch on September 20, 2026. The gathering features various musical groups, including Alejandro de la Cruz and La Simpleza, and is tied to the historical development of Pinamar.
