A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special season 2 set to premiere October 7

The second season of the anime ‘A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special’ is scheduled to premiere on October 7. The series will be broadcast on Fuji TV’s ‘+Ultra’ block and other stations.

A new trailer and key visual have been released, featuring the new opening theme song ‘Sorrow’ performed by the Japanese rock band FLOW. The ending theme, ‘Everlasting,’ will be performed by krage.

Produced by Arvo Animation and directed by Taishi Kawaguchi, the story follows Desir Herrman, a mage who uses knowledge from a failed future to travel thirteen years into the past. The upcoming season is expected to focus on an arc involving a new Shadow World following the characters' promotion to the alpha class.
