A. S. WAKABA releases promotional video for Sepaktakraw

A. S. WAKABA, a Sepaktakraw club team based in the Wakabayashi district of Setagaya, Tokyo, has released a promotional video on YouTube to increase public awareness and popularity of the sport.

Ahead of a major international competition in Asia, the video aims to serve as a guide for new viewers by explaining the rules and highlighting the sport's appeal. The content focuses on the high-speed, acrobatic nature of the game, featuring attacks such as ‘rolling’ and ‘scissors’ that can exceed 100 km/h.

The team, which consists of approximately 30 members ranging from high school students to adults, intends for the video to be used freely by others for social media sharing, university recruitment, or promotional events to help expand the sport's domestic presence in Japan.
