A-Shu Danzai Noodles named 2026 Excellent Taiwan Old Store

A-Shu Danzai Noodles, a long-standing eatery in Changhua, has been selected as a 2026 Excellent Taiwan Old Store by the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Business Development Administration.

The establishment has operated for 67 years, evolving from a street vendor started by the first generation, Wu Song-shu, in 1959, through the second generation, to the current third generation led by Wu Xin-yuan. The restaurant is recognized for its commitment to traditional flavors, using fresh bone broth and clams to maintain its classic taste.

Changhua County Magistrate Wang Hui-mei visited the establishment to celebrate the honor, noting that the recognition highlights the strength of local culinary brands and the importance of preserving traditional food culture.
