A Talent for Murder film set for October 2026 release

The thriller film ‘A Talent for Murder’, directed by Anton Corbijn, is scheduled for theatrical release by Bleecker Street and LD Entertainment on October 23, 2026.

Adapted from Joanna Murray-Smith’s play ‘Switzerland’, the story follows Edward Ridgeway (Alden Ehrenreich), a man sent from a New York publisher to Switzerland to persuade reclusive author Patricia Highsmith (Helen Mirren) to write a final installment of the Ripley anthology. The film also stars Olivia Cooke as Clementine Balfour and Juliet Stevenson as Peggy.

The narrative is inspired by the works of Highsmith, known for her tales of deception and murder, and is set against the backdrop of a small Swiss village.
