A1 and O2 launch new streaming and IPTV subscription bundles

Telecommunications providers in Austria and Germany are expanding their digital service offerings through new streaming and IPTV bundles.

A1 has launched 'A1 Select', a platform designed to centralize various digital services within its 'Mein A1' app. Customers can purchase subscription slots starting at 6.90 euros per month, which can be used for services such as Netflix, Disney+, CANAL+, or HBO Max. Users have the option to change their selected service once per month. The offering also includes fitness, learning, and children's entertainment platforms like Les Mills+, Montessori, and Kidjo. A1 claims that customers can save up to 30 percent compared to individual subscriptions.

In Germany, O2 is introducing a new bundle to compete with providers like waipu.tv. The O2 TV Premium package includes access to over 150 HD channels and allows for simultaneous streaming on up to four devices. By bundling O2 TV with Netflix and Disney+, the total monthly cost is approximately 15 euros, offering a slight discount compared to purchasing the services separately.
