A1 channels to broadcast 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship

A1's sports channels, MAX Sport and MAX One, will broadcast selected matches from the 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship from August 21 to September 6. The 34th edition of the tournament will feature 24 national teams competing across Turkey, Czechia, Azerbaijan, and Sweden.

Key highlights for MAX One include two group stage matches for the Bulgarian national team: against Austria on August 26 and against host nation Czechia on August 27. If Bulgaria qualifies for the knockout stages, their matches will be broadcast simultaneously on A1 channels and bTV Media Group. This coverage will extend through the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final on September 6.

Following the women's tournament, the focus will shift to the Men's European Championship in September, which will also be hosted in part by Bulgaria.
