A1 Roma-Napoli motorway accident causes 11km traffic jam

A three-car accident on the A1 Roma-Napoli motorway has caused significant traffic disruptions between San Cesareo and Anagni-Fiuggi. The collision occurred in the southbound direction, near the junction for the Roma Sud branch and Anagni.

Traffic is currently restricted to two lanes, resulting in an 11-kilometer queue. Commuters are facing delays of approximately 58 minutes, with travel times through the affected section reaching 74 minutes.

Autostrade per l’Italia and emergency services are on-site managing the scene and vehicle removal. Drivers heading toward Naples are advised to exit at San Cesareo via the Roma Sud branch and use the SS6 Casilina to rejoin the motorway at Anagni. Those traveling from Florence are recommended to use the Valmontone exit to bypass the congestion.
