A13 Brașov-Bacău motorway project advances with technical meetings

The National Company for Road Investments (CNIR) recently held a working meeting in Oituz to discuss the route of the A13 Brașov-Bacău motorway. During the meeting, the project team and designers presented technical solutions intended to minimize the impact of the new highway on local residents' properties.

Specialists also presented the positioning of road nodes that will serve the localities of Oituz and Slănic Moldova to their respective mayors. To complete the feasibility study, geotechnical drilling is underway, with 23,650 meters already completed. This study is essential for determining the final route and estimated costs for the design and execution phases.

The A13 motorway will span 174 kilometers and include 15 nodes. It is designed to connect with the future Sibiu-Făgăraș-Brașov motorway via a high-speed node near Codlea, and with the A7 Moldova Motorway at Răcăciuni near Bacău. CNIR has divided the project into five lots, each intended to function independently.
