Vegetation fire burns four hectares near A14 motorway in Atri

A vegetation fire broke out in the Atri area near the A14 motorway between the Pineto and Roseto degli Abruzzi exits on September 16. The blaze, located in the Contrada Reille area, burned approximately four hectares of land.

The fire primarily affected dry brush and stubble, spreading quickly due to the combustible nature of the vegetation. The flames also damaged ornamental plants, such as oleanders, along the roadside. The proximity of the fire to the heavily traveled A14 motorway raised concerns regarding traffic safety and mobility in the Teramo province.
