A18 Lite wearable display enters pre-sale on Makuake

RT Co., Ltd. has launched a pre-sale campaign on Makuake for the A18 Lite, a wearable display designed to provide a large-screen experience through wireless projection. The device allows users to project content from smartphones, tablets, PCs, and gaming consoles using three methods: wireless mirroring, Wi-Fi casting, and wireless projection via a TX transmission cable for gaming consoles.

The A18 Lite features dual high-definition displays providing a 4K-equivalent resolution (3840x1080 total) with a pixel density of 1,224 PPI. It utilizes Pancake optics to maintain a slim profile and a lightweight design, weighing approximately 110g. The device offers a 65-degree field of view, simulating a 1,000-inch screen at a distance of 20 meters, and supports a 60Hz refresh rate for smooth motion.

Additional features include adjustable diopter settings (0D to -7.00D) for users with different vision needs, built-in dual speakers, and a magnetic light-shielding eye mask to enhance immersion. The device also includes physical controls for volume and brightness adjustment.
